New CCL Co-Chair!
After more than 10 years as co-Chair of the Coalition, Ted Wood has decided to step down from the role. Don’t worry, he’ll still be around in a post-retirement role! If you see him out and about, be sure to ask him for some home maintenance and home purchase tips.
It is our pleasure to announce that Christopher Thomas of New2U Homes has been elected to be our newest co-Chair. Along with Beverly Fair-Brooks of M&T Bank, we know there will be great things coming with this new era of Celebrate City Living.
Now, a few words from our new Co-Chair:
I am humbled, excited and proud for the opportunity to assist with an organization that is focused on and dedicated to celebrating all there is to offer in our great city.
I look forward to assisting in educating and drawing attention to the diversity we have to offer with respect to people, natural amenities, and community assets. We are a proud city with limitless opportunities and unique advantages not available anywhere else. Our summers are filled with festivals and events that celebrate all types of music and many different cultures. In fact sometimes we come up with celebrations for no other reason than to enjoy one another, eat good food and smile.
Christopher Thomas is a local Real Estate Broker and Rochester NY enthusiast excited about everything Rochester related.
Christopher is a self-made entrepreneur with businesses centered around real estate. He is most known for assisting first time buyers in the Rochester community. He works tirelessly to make sure they have the opportunity to own a home regardless of their current or past situation. The vision statement his company adheres to is “Helping motivated people achieve their real estate goals”. He also works extensively with investors who are motivated to improve their community and make an income simultaneously. Christopher bought his first home at 18 years old and has been passionate about it since that time. He opened an independently owned real estate brokerage in 2008 which continues to grow year after year and is currently recognized as one of the best brokerages in Rochester. He credits the business success to innovative and creative uses of technology and a desire to help as many people as possible. Future ventures for Mr. Thomas include building and developing homes and communities specifically targeted at improving the lives of lower income individuals in Rochester and other similar cities around the States.
