Join us on Friday, July 12, from 6 – 9pm for the opening reception of “Fleeting,” an exhibition of works made by 2023-2024 Printmaking & Book Arts artists-in-residence Michaela Chan, Cronan Saint Ronan Kobylak, and Gwyneth Zeleny Anderson. The performance portion of the evening will commence at 7pm.
Michaela gives the story of Syzygy. Unlike leaves, Syzygy curves away from the sun.
Cronan’s work features a queer perspective of the catholic aesthetic meets paganism, folklore meets folk art, and an easily digestible visual body of the occult.
Gwyneth playfully explores the impermanence and discomfort of everyday human experience. Her prints depict spillage, cartoonishness, and relatability of living in a body.
The show will be displayed in our Sunken Room Gallery until July 26
