RocIDEA Connection: Beyond Either/Or Binary of Identity Politics
March 27, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Free

**Wheelchair accessible parking is available to the left and right of the main door at 75 College Avenue. The event is on the first floor and there are no stairs. Go to the left once you enter the double doors.**
Navigating the maze of labels that define who we are can be challenging. Join us for a discussion as we explore who gets to decide what those labels are and the consequences of doing so. We’ll relax away from the urgency of ‘having to get it RIGHT’, discuss both the person-first and identity-first movements, and have some fun in the process. This event will be facilitated by Steve Jarose and Sady Fischer of NCBI Rochester.
