ROCovery Fitness, Inc. is a nonprofit supportive community of physically active individuals brought together through sober living, committed to creating an environment of healing and recovery. Members, their families and friends are empowered to discover the inner strength and confidence they need to live in a sober environment, free from stigma and judgement through adventure, fun and camaraderie.
We hold weekly outdoor events such as hiking, group bicycle rides, kayaking, strength training, park workouts, camping and much more. By replacing maladaptive patterns of coping with positive alternatives and a commitment to healthy living, ROCovery Fitness is the missing link in recovery from addiction process. We hope to bring our services to the greater community and offer daily activities. Our aim is to create a sober wellness center and clubhouse where recovering individuals can go to for social support, the development of internal as well as external strength, and engagement in healthy, wellness oriented activities. As all of our events are currently held outdoors, we are often times limited by a number of variables as well as the weather. Help us reach more people recovering from this deadly disease. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to our members and the acquisition of a space to grow our programming and offer more events.
The Rochester Monroe Recovery Network is a peer led, peer driven recovery community and outreach center located at 228 S Plymouth Ave. We aim to serve those seeking recovery and their families. This Recovery Community and Outreach Center helps people seeking treatment and recovery get access to appropriate and quality care. We offer recovery support groups, community referrals, access to a computer lab, civic restoration, employment readiness, and life skills groups. We are committed to helping the community address the substance use disorder problems people face day to day. We are firm believers in multiple pathways to recovery and work with individuals and their families to achieve and sustain their recovery.
This event is geared towards individuals in recovery or struggling with addiction, their loved ones/family, and anyone touched by the disease of addiction. We aim to raise awareness and shatter the overwhelming stigma that still exists in our community. Let’s come together and take a stand against addiction. Let’s take a stand for recovery, for freedom, and for living life sober!
