Who We Are and What We Do

Celebrate City Living is your resource for learning about Rochester living and city housing. The Rochester Coalition for Neighborhood Living continually strives to be a comprehensive and clear resource for people anywhere along the spectrum of interest in city living. Anchored by the CelebrateCityLiving.com web site, the Coalition also:

  • Promotes City living through the annual Celebrate City Living Expo, an informational and fun housing event, designed to give participants a taste of all the things that Rochester living provides. Expo 2019, held in April at Sibley Square was even bigger and better than years past – stay tuned for upcoming Expo details for 2020! Housing providers, real estate professionals, and lenders, but also furniture stores, food vendors, neighborhood and school advocates and more. Among other things, you can pick up information on R-center activities, attend a workshop on Renting in Rochester or Homebuyer 101, bring home a free book from the library, and meet with neighborhood residents who can’t wait to tell you why they love their area.
  • We celebrate in different neighborhoods a few times a year. So far we’ve visited 14621, the 19th Ward, ABC Streets/Park Ave, Center City, Charlotte, Maplewood, Marketview Heights, and NOTA – stay tuned for upcoming events.
  • Keeps you up to date on on amazing events and activities going on around town through Facebook and twitter, and gives you a unique view of Rochester through our Instagram account (@ccl_roc) where we highlight people, places, and things unique to the city. Healthy Rochester, What makes you hot, How do you Celebrate Roc? and more!
